2010 ORECRUSHER WRAP-UP


The 2010 Orecrusher XC was the 1st race of 5 in the Hell of a Series... and although the marathon option did not go as a planned, don't worry, we will still get you in the Series! 
We do apologize for the confusion and if you were planning on participating in the Hell of a Series, and did not do the 6 laps please email the organizer at jim@orecrusher.com with the following information:
  • NAME
  • RACE CATEGORY
  • # OF LAPS COMPLETED
The Fix:  Hell of a Series points will be awarded the same as those that did the 6 laps.  For example, if you were planning on vying for Series standings and your category only raced 5 laps, the 1st place winner in this group will also be awarded 1st place points.  As it will take some time to collect the data, Series points will be available later next week (May 17 week). We are making every effort to contact those affected but please drop us a line as well.

Please note as well that The Hell of a Series events are sanctioned at a Recreational level  where officiating, sporting controls and regulations are kept low so you may seem some differences between these races and BC Cups.    Each race has the option of running their own categories and awards.  Series points will be extracted and tabulated from the posted results. Series standings will be posted here.

Please note that because of the way the start was done that the times for 14-17 year old marathoners are 4 minutes slower than 18 & 19 year old marathoners and will be adjusted in the very near future to determine the HoaS 14-19 cat winners.

And to all Marathon participants please accept my apologies for the confusion & glitches. I will be doing my best to rectify them. And will be communicating to you all ASAP.
